You can apply for a Enhanced DBS through Heavenly for just £70+vat (£84)
Once the DBS application has been submitted it usually takes only a week until you receive your DBS certificate in the post. The British DBS is the police/criminal check formerly known as a CRB check.
Payment of £84 is made via PayPal, but check with us first that you have the correct Original documents in order to obtain a British DBS (passport or driving licence etc.) Please see below for a list of the Documents which can be accepted to prove your identity.
Please note, to work with children you will need to apply for an Enhanced DBS, a standard DBS is not enough. Get in touch to find out more!
DBS update Service
To register for the DBS Update Service you will need to go to https://www.gov.uk/dbs-update-service
It costs just £13 per year and keeps your DBS certificate up to date online AND it allows emloyers/agencies to check candidates’ certificates online. Candidates have 19 days from the day of issue to sign up for this service but it is recommended that candidates should sign up using their DBS reference number while the DBS is in progress to ensure they do not miss the deadline.
Acceptable Documents which can be used to prove your identity for the purpose of obtaining a DBS.
At least 3 documents (originals) are required:
- 1 Document from Group 1 and 2 Documents from Group 2.
- If you have nothing for Group 1 you can instead use 5 Documents from Group 2.
