1st Aid & Training Courses

Get discounts off Training & First Aid courses through Heavenly!

Nanny candidates need to have a current First Aid certificate. It is their responsibility to keep it up to date and pay for the course. However, we recommend that all candidates (au pair & mother’s help etc) who have not recently attended a first aid course attend a short paediatric first aid course.

The families cover the cost of this for au pairs, but for others; nannies, mother’s helps etc the candidates need to pay for themselves.

Heavenly has teamed up with HATA to offer a series of very useful courses suitable for nannies, au pairs, mother’s helps etc with £10 off the course if you book using Heavenly’s code. To get your discount, put in the code ‘HEAVENLY‘ in the box ‘Where did you hear about HATA?’

  • 6 hour Paediatric First Aid
  • 12 hour Paediatric First Aid
  • Nanny Diploma
  • Maternity Course (Level 3)
  • Sleep Consultant
  • Common Core Skills and Knowledge
  • Healthy Eating for Children

The costs of the course are very reasonable – £75 (before discount!) for the 6 hr 1st aid course!

All details can be found on HATA’s website, and you can book directly online.

Training venues are located in central London, Cambridge & Manchester. Also offered are correspondance courses.

Many of our mother’s help and junior nanny candidates wish to acquire formal training whilst they work, so that they can gain the skills and experience necessary to progress in their careers as nannies/ child-carers. There are many courses available to you for this. Please contact us and we can send you further details.

Au Pair Training

If you are Heavenly host family or new au pair placed by Heavenly then you may be interested in a ‘core skills course for au pairs.
